Abstract

The logs on the current investigation analyze the historic, bureaucratic and legal relevancy of the transferring of books between the old and the new continent, on the dawn of the sixteenth century. Prevalent to the establishment of the first print houses on Nueva España and Nueva Galicia, the European printers began to fill the shelves of religious institutions. By the way of the dynamics in the logistics of shipping and bibliographic inventories of the religious, one can determine the ideas and discourses for a society in construction. In current times, these prints form part of one of the greatest treasures in the bibliographic legacy of the people of the state of Jalisco.
